Our mission is to reach out to people using drama and other forms of theatre in ministering to both the believer and unbeliever ensuring that the gospel of the love of God is preached in its most relatable and applicable form.
VISION STATEMENT
To be a service unit committed to ensuring the continuous growth of its members in all spheres of life, and to keep expressing Gods love by painting the scriptures in pictures.
BRIEF HISTORY OF COVENANT UNIVERSITY THEATRE GROUP
In 2008, CUTG was born from the coming together of 3 independent theatre groups, which were not service units at the time. The need arose from the desire to have a single chaplaincy drama unit
From then CUTG became a Covenant University Chaplaincy service unit, with the primary purpose of spreading the gospel across all levels of students and other persons within the Covenant University community, through drama, and other forms of theatre.
